Varamaha Laxmi Pooja at my home

On Aug-15-2008 we did Varamaha Laxmi pooja at home. I was forced to be there at home. I planned for biking(cycle) trip to pearl valley. It was a nice pooja. Had very nice food.


Have a look at the video! See what my son is doing...other day he asked why to go to temple when you have god at home? I have no answer.....

In the evening, Nishanth Barnwala, Chetana and Vishnath joined us for dinner.

Silly Saithu....1

As you know lot of kids wet in the bed. After long time my son urinated in the bed for two days continously. On the second day, when he got up, he asked me "Why you people never urinate in the bed?".

It was very tough for me to explain. I told him kids can not control the bladder. He told me, he is not a kid any more, he buys a ticket in the train. :-)

Other day when we were in the train, I told him about the necessity of ticket from five years onwards.

What is Silly Saithu?

Thi series is all about the silly questions asked by my son. These are not silly questions, but silly. He is just complete five years. Chaitu is my son's nick name. One of our close family friend from Tamilnadu calls his Saithu. I love the way he calls.

Better Half B'Day

It was my better half B'day yesterday. Initially I have not planned anything special, as my brother in law came the night before, we decided to have cake cutting at night 12'o clock. We even planned to make it as surprise. The surprise thing got spoiled, as my wife saw us bringing the cake.

Laxmi is from rural place, she is not much interested in Cake cutting. She said no for 12'o clock cake cutting, because it will disturb our son's sleeping. He has getup early for his school, she has get up early for to see us off.

In the morning my son got up, as he saw the CAKE in the fridge, he came to know about his MOM's b'day. He insisted for cake cutting in the morning. He led from the front, from setting up the table to arranging candle and knife.

This is my firs cake cutting experience early in the morning. It was really good.
