6 vs 2

When we planned to close MyDuniya, I have few options in front of me.
1. Go back to employee world, look for good job be there
2. Pursue my entrepreneur dreams.

My VOTE is always for the later one. Just give the confidence to family thought to have have few offers in the hand. It is more like half hearted attempt. To my surprise I had got six offers in a month. Two of the offers are really good.

As I decided to have own startup, I thought to employee two freshers. I had given offer to two people.

That is what 6 VS 2. Many people says "only time will tell, whether i made right choice or not". But I am very clear I made the right choice.

Now we are there full time employees at NUMO Solutions.

No Business Card at an event, Don't worry

Did you any time forgot to carry the business cards to an important event? If you are in sales you can not afford this. But few times we do end up forgetting or carrying very few cards.

was in the similar position when attended yesterday's TiE event. I had only three cards. What to do? As I realized early(Reminded by CEO), I planned to use two tricks i have for this kind of situation.

One sCard:

You can tackle this situation using technology. BizCard is one of the feature in MyDuniya consumer services. You store your business card in MyDuniya website, you can forward it to the particular person's mail id. Your business card will go as VCF attachment to the mail id. The other user can add your details to address book with single click. As it goes through sms, I call it as sCard. Do you have sCard if not please go and have one at MyDuniya


Second Networking Friend:
In these scenario, better to find a friend in the event who is very good at networking. You always be with him. Whenever your friend exchage a card the other person, the other person will offer a card, you can say him you exhausted your cards and you will get back.

DOWN TO THE WIRE

One ball, one run to win, three wickets in hand. As the Pavan decided to bowl, Mohan decided to hit it or get out. He couldn't int the last three balls, Pavan was bowling really nicely. Mohan hit the last ball over the mid off for two runs and won the game.

Last Week:
It's been long time we were planning to play cricket in the office. We planned to play against SuperSeva or Srishti. Initially it was head count problem we were not even 11 at that time. When we were 11 people in MyDuniya we got really busy. Some how our CEO, who is very energetic player behind us for cricket. He even went and bought the Bat and ball. At last it is got kicked off last Friday. As I was on my business trip to Mumbai, I couldn't be play.

This Week:
When I heard about last week's play, I decided to play this week. As the Friday approached, our CEO Ganapathy went on a trip to DELHI. Finally we left with 8 people. We decided to play, we reached Lawrence School Play ground at 5:30pm.

We split into two teams, Sandeep and Sachin (Not Sachin Tendulkar) are two captains.
In one team Sachin, Me, Mohan and Tirumala. In another team Sandeep, Pavan, Vijay and Satya. Pavan was the hero of the last week's game. He is no doubt a good player. He bats well and bowls well too.

We decide to have six overs a side match. Sandeep won the toss and elected to bat. Sachin started of nicely. As I don't my team's strength, I decided to wait to and watch. Sandeep got all out for 13 runs. We score 15 runs for 1 wicket in 3 overs.We played one more match after that, there is nothing great to write about it.


As the school's play ground is hardly 50 mts, why to wait for Friday, Why not every day in the evening for 30 mts from 6:00 to 6:30pm.

SMART SMS

Ever wondered what it would be like, if you had to forward your resume when you are on the move and had no internet connection? Well, you can now conjure up this act with just an SMS. MyDuniya Networks is one platform which has taken SMS utility to the next level.

Consumers can store their files (typically resumes or other documents) and assign a keyword (let’s say CV.file). Whenever an user wants to forward the file he can just sms CV.file to 53695. The file will be forwarded to the specified email-id.

You can send quick mails to anyone while you are on the move using SMS. You have to sms <> to 53695, the message will be sent to the specified email-id. Another interesting feature is saving and forwarding your business card. You can also ask the people to pull your card. Your contact information will be delivered to your friend’s phone and email. Ugadi

I already have two blogs, “Ideas Unlimited”, “Marathalli”. I thought to create one more for long time to write the daily/General updates. What a day to start this blog? Today is Ugadi. Ugadi came from Yuga and Adi. Yuga means Era, Adi means beginning, Ugadi means beginning of an era. As of now I have lot of ideas for this blog.
